Life is short

Had a bad appt last night, followed by a great one. Strange how some
people can go through life with such baggage. From the beginning they
attempted to show off their wealth, arrogance, and ultimately their
ignorance. So I asked them to leave. Life is too short to waste on
fools.

Of course, if you believe in Karma, then it was the universe that sent
the next couple. They were the complete opposite. In fact, the bride
was tired from spending the might helping a friend with her newborn
child.

A lesson that took me years to comprehend.

Totally mobile!

Now that I have the Apple iPhone I can stay in touch anywhere. Last night I stayed up an extra hour just to play with this cool ass toy. I"m sure you've heard the hype so I won"t go through all the features, suffice to say that many many things I couldnt do with my Nokia e62 and blkberry connect are done on the apple.

Today shooting Kristen and Doug - super cute couple. I"m going to try to blog and twitter throughout the day.

Got the iPhone today - Marianna is sick of it already

I can't help it. Its link my birthday when I was 6. I just want to spend the next 2 days playing with it. So far I have taken 1 photo - Alex.

I have my email working. In fact, it connects directly to gmail saving me from editing 2 accounts. I'm updating my iTunes acct so I can save some of my podcasts.

Tonight begins a a tradition spanning over 11 years. I will be meeting 3-4 couples who are looking for a premium photographer/videographer for their wedding. Here is a few tips. Check out the website before you arrive.

What should I eat this Friday when I take Marianna out for lunch??? Toronto has some of the finest restaurants in North America. The problem is there are really very few of them.

Woke up super early today. As I walked to StarBucks I was very surprised. So todays photos are going to be from somewhere very warm Coconut grove Florida.

September is here!! Cant wait until it snows. Here is a list of things I want to accomplish in the next 4 months

• lose another 15 lbs
• book 30 weddings
• set up a studio in Montreal
• increase by 25% our sales in Florida
• get a super computer for my home office with a kick ass 22in monitor (if I book 30 weddings)
• increase our turn aways to 65
• go on the diseny cruise
• book 5 more weddings in Florida
• learn to cook mushroom risotto
• finally play tennis on the wii
• clean my office
• sell a bunch of old camera stuff on ebay
• get back on the bike, treadmill everyday
• create a new website for excellence

First day of school for the boys.

I always feel like fall begins on September 2nd. Whenever school starts up again I feel a little sad, a little nervous and a lot excited. Now as an adult, instead of worrying about who my new friends are going to be I get to worry about a huge bridal show coming up this weekend.

What fun this summer has been. This past weekend was the last crazy weekend in August. Shooting in Montreal, Miami and Toronto and over 10 weddings. Soooooo I've been a little behind on the blog.

Of course, September is not much better. WE have 8 weddings, and 2 bridal shows. If you need to reach me please email. I'll be reporting an article I wrote 2 years ago explaining why I hate the telephone.
