What on earth do we mean???

Booked another wedding yesterday afternoon, looks like another today called and wants to book. Our 2009 season is starting to close! (whew).

For those of you reading this blog or the first time, or just browsing photo sites - I want to make it clear. We are not the typical photography studio. Here is 5 things that make us completely different, in no particular order.

  1. We do not do digital books. And we never will. If you want a coffee table book (they call it a coffee table book cause that where coffee is spilled) then we can help you design your own with the high resolution files after your wedding. They are only a few hundred dollars and thats all they are worth.
  2. We do not pressure couples to book with us. In fact, we usually suggest they go home and thin about first. We usually end up turning couples who think too long away. My current goal is to get our Turn away number to 50 ( we hit 36 yesterday) Our season runs from March to March and my yearly goal is 100. Last year we turned away 68 and the previous year 78 and the year before 63.
  3. 7 deposits mean brides and grooms do not have to put so much money down, can spread out payments. Were not worried about you liking our images.
  4. We spend hours on post production. That means even after we have taken your photos, the work is not done. Closed eyes, special effects and cropping is included in our packages at no cost.
  5. Our videos are custom. That means you get to choose how your video is edited, which music, and style you prefer.
