Wa wa we wa

If you have every had a baby you will understand what it means to see something you care about slowly grow into maturity.

Each month TorontoHomeMovies.com (CanadaHomeMovies.com) has grown. Today we met a financial milestone that we had previously set for the end of the year. It's obvious that the market for saving peoples memories is growing.

The key to our success, I believe, is our undetered commitment to quality and inovation. We have take 2 hours of footage that used to take nearly 32 hours to covert to DVD and now streamlined it to a pure digital workflow that is done in less than 8 hours.

So we are 4 times more productive now than 10 months ago!!

Another strength is our realization that our clients really value their memories and with the right education we can aid them in preserving them forever.

Here are a few questions:

  1. Do you store your digital photos on the camera, on a hard drive, or burn them back to DVD?
  2. Where do you place your tapes? In the closet or basement?
  3. Who is your family archivist?
  4. When is the best time to convert old footage?
  5. Do you plan to edit the footage in the future?
